General Production

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Operation of standard and large mobile equipment to move material and product in a safe manner.

• Assist in setting up of machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.

• Assist in controlling and adjusting machine settings.

• Follow directions as instructions given by Operator during production.

• Proper operation of overhead crane to ensure all safety procedures are followed.

• Prepare finished material for shipping.

• Record weights, lengths, etc.

• Responsibilities will expand over time as training progresses.

• Perform all tasks in a safe manner following Follow all safety procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

• Able to operate standard and large mobile equipment.

• Able to stand 4 hours at one time and total of 11 hours per day.

• Able to work in a hot environment.

• Ability to bend/twist/kneel/reach above shoulder height.
