Core Duties and Responsibilities

Equipment and Material Handling

• Operate standard and large mobile equipment to move material and product safely
• Operate the overhead crane, following all safety procedures
• Prepare finished material for shipping
• Record weights, lengths, etc.

Production Support

• Assist in setting up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
• Assist in controlling and adjusting machine settings
• Follow the Operator's directions during production

General

• Follow all safety procedures on every task
• Responsibilities will expand over time as training progresses
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 pounds at times
• Operate standard and large mobile equipment
• Stand 4 hours at one time, 11 hours total per day
• Work in a hot environment
• Bend, twist, kneel, and reach above shoulder height
