product development
Vista employs a fully capable metallurgical team with combined industry experience of over 7 decades. Utilizing state of the art resources, the mechanical engineering team assists with the development and testing of Vista's products. Vista's fully equipped laboratory includes complete chemical analysis through the use of two optical emission spectrometers, UV inspection, and metallographic equipment which includes an image analyzer for grain size measuring and micro structure analysis. All products are ultrasonically inspected by certified UT technicians and in conformance to AMS-2154 Class A.

Data Collection
We utilize a custom in-house built data collection system that tracks every drop from the moment casting is initiated to the finished shipping product. All data points from our casting reports are input from sensors in our casting pits thus minimizing human data entry errors. These include furnace temperatures, de-gassing unit temp, table temp, casting speed and much more. Also included are our homogenization records for every drop, chemical analysis, etch and penetrant inspection, and UT inspection. At a moments notice all of these records are available for our quality control staff to review and analyze. These are stored on a permanent basis.
