Vista utilizes state-of-the-art Direct Chill (DC) casting technology for all of its billet and slab products. Our six gas-fired reverb furnaces feed three distinct casting pits capable of producing billet up to 252" in length. All molten aluminum is de-gassed by inline LARS™ units which are followed by Selee™ filters to ensure metal cleanliness. Continuous hydrogen measurements are made with Alscan™ technology.

With the largest batch homogenization capacity in the Western United States, Vista can keep pace with demand from the industry. Our furnaces are designed to maintain the tightest temperature controls in the industry. All processing is computer controlled and all metrics are logged and maintained as a permanent record.
